Rice-cake soup is one of the best-known Korean foods. It is the most typical food eaten on a new year`s day, but is eaten on ordinary days also. It doesn`t only look nice but good for health, too.
* Ingredients:
sliced rice cake, fish sauce, eggs, laver (dried sea plant), sesame oil, black ground pepper.
<How to cook>
1. Bring welsh onion, some dried sea tangles and anchovies to a boil in a saucepan.
2. Pour the egg yolk mixture into the pan and tilt it so it spreads evenly and thinly.
3. Slice it into thin strips and set it aside.
4. Roast both sides of a sheet of gim until it’s bright green and very crispy.
5. Put it in a plastic bag and crush it by hand. Set aside.
6. Add the rice cake to the boiling soup with fish sauce, salt, and sliced green onion.
7. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes until all the rice cakes are floating.
8. Add sesame oil, ground black pepper, and chopped green onion.
9. Serve it right away.
Next time I will cook Bean Sprouts with Rice (Kong-namul-bap).
