I cooked "Kongnamulbap" last wecancook time~
I am glad to introduce my kongnamulbap recipe to you.
Kongnamul means “soybean sprouts” in English and bap means “rice.” It is like Bibimbap.
The best things about this dish are that it’s easy to make, simple, delicious and very cheap! :)
Let’s make delicious and decent kongnamulbap!
* Ingredients : Soybean sprouts (250 grams), rice, soy sauce, green onions, garlic, red chili pepper (optional), chives, dried red pepper powder, sesame seeds, sesame oil.
<How to cook>
- Making rice!
1. Add 1 cup of short grain rice to a heavy bottomed pot.
2. Rinse in cold water and drain.
3. Scrub, rinse and drain 3-4 times, until the water becomes clear.
4. Add 1 cup of water to the rice, and let it soak at least 30 minutes.
5. Put soybean sprouts in large bowl with water.
6. Rinse and drain a couple of times to clean thoroughly.
7. Pick out some brownish rotten beans. Drain and set aside.
8. Add the soybean sprouts on the rice
9. Close the lid, and cook
- Sauce
1.Combine all these ingredients in a bowl and mix well: 1/3 cup soy sauce, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 stalk of chopped green onion, 2 ts hot pepper flakes, 1 tbs chopped green chili pepper, 2 ts chives, 1 ts dried red pepper powder, 1 tbs sesame seeds and 1 tbs roasted sesame seeds.
See? really easy right? :D
Next time I will cook Chapssaltteok!! (glutinous rice cake)
