Halloween day in Seoul :)

Hi!
This is M again! 

Do you know? tomorrow is Halloween day!!!
Actually Korea doesn't have party for Halloween. 
So, when I saw this guys, it was so interesting!! 

Do you know what they are making?
They are making mask for Halloween party tomorrow!
So, I recommend them to go to Itaewon, because I heard there will be party tomorrow night 

Now, I wonder what kind of mask they are making, maybe they will show me tomorrow

Giva Week 2014 in Garosu-gil.

M is back! How are you?

Today I want to introduce about street festival in "Garosu-gil".
This is not a big festival, and even the period is around Halloween.
The festival name is "Giva Week(Gingko Virus Alley Week)".

Indie musicians will sing on the street and you can get discount from a lot of shop.

On the street, there is around 160 of ginkgo, that's why their symbol is yellow balloon.

If you like Korean music and thinking about visit Gangnam, how about go there for a while?

Do you like Korean street foods?
I like street foods and when I travel other country, I usually enjoy the street food :D
So, I will make you to be hungry today!

Basically, the best season of Korean street food is winter.
Why I posted this now? this is not even winter yet?
Because today is so cold and it makes me to remind about the Ddeokbokki with some fries and broth.

I'm so excited to eat in cold weather! That's the best thing I like in winter. <3

I was so impressed by this family, 
because,,, I heard a guy proposed for his girlfriend in Korea just the day before!

So they celebrated by themselves and invited me :) 
and I just took a photo for rememberance! 

How lovely!!

One rainy day of Kitties :)

How can you spend time in a rainy day?
Yesterday Seould was rainy and our kitties spent lazy and sleepy day.
Look so comfortable, right?

They never moved for few hours and just slept.
I didn't know that kitties are sleeping so much!
I envy they can sleep like this long time.

Hwaseong(Fortress) - Suwon city.

Hi, everyone :)

This is M the night manager of Studio41st!

I want people know about Korea,

so I will introduce about tourists every tuesday!

Today's place is Hwa-seong(Suwon city).

This fortress has built in 1796 ordered by King Jeong-jo.
And also Hwaseong is registered on Unesco in 1997,
because when it was building, JeongYakyong(Architect) used lots of new architecture skill.
So it was supposed to build in 10years but it's finished in 34months.

And they have parade  every year for King Jeonjo.

Hi~ this is M the night manager!

I always wished, people travel everywhere in Korea!
and this two woman has visited country side even just two of them!
What a brave women!?

They went Yang-gu and Gang-neung, east side of Korea.
I don't know what made them to travel so far away,
but I'm pretty sure they are amazing people!

Nanji Camping Ground in Mapo-gu Sangam-dong

Do you guys know Nanji Camping Ground in Mapo-gu Sangam-dong??



Nanji Camping Ground is one of the only areas where you are allowed to BBQ by the river, so why not take advantage of the weather and grill away with friends! A favorite place among locals. Located in Han River Citizen's Park which is surrounding the World Cup Stadium on Sangam-dong near Hongdae.



Entrance to the camping ground costs 3,750 won a person and you are able to rent the following equipment: Tent, tables, chairs, grill (different sizes), blankets, mats and lanterns.



Here are some example prices:


Grill for 4 people: 7,000 KRW


Grill for 20 people: 26,000 KRW


Per chair: 1,000 KRW


Per table: 6,000 KRW


Folding Shade Tent (3x4 meter): 20,000KRW



There is also a store where you can buy food and alcohol.



We recommend you buy your own meat before you go and your favorite wine, or other alcohol. The store sells cold beer so don't worry about bringing that. Unless you want imported or specialty beers. It also sells lettuce, garlic other kinds of vegetables and disposable plates, forks, chopsticks, and other disposable kitchen utensils. Should you be in the spontaneous mood, you can just bring yourself and some friends and rent/buy everything on site, including meat, so don't worry.




Open Hours: 11am - 10pm (Yes. 23 hour open).

Paljamakchang previously announced that there would be a restaurant business break and it's to re-operate as 401 Restaurant  with better tastes and services.


The restaurant has renovated and it's now officially open.

I have tried a few type of patbingsu. From some cafe brands to the original one.
